Town sign two-year deal with former Swansea defender

As pre-season

approaches, Maurice Malpas has made his first new signing - with Kevin Amankwaah moving from Swansea City to join the Reds.

 

The 26-year-old defender has agreed to a two-year deal with Town, putting pen to paper earlier this week.

 

And at 6'1, Kevin seems to match the criteria Malpas has been looking for - with a focus on getting more height in the squad.

 

He will now join the rest of the team - hopefully including a few more faces - back at the County Ground on 27 June, before their pre-season trip to Austria on 9 July.

 

Operation 6K...
