Swindon 2 Cheltenham 2

Coca-Cola League One

RESULT: Swindon 2 Cheltenham 2

Swindon scorers: Robson-Kanu 32, Amankwaah 66
Cheltenham scorer: Hammond (2) 33, 54

The final result was a draw - but for Town fans it felt like a defeat.

That was the general consensus of those leaving the County Ground tonight after Swindon were held - and often outplayed - by the League's bottom club.

"We were just not good enough," one irate fan told SwindonWebTV, "but I don't blame Wilson. It's the players.

"We need a complete clear out and start again. They're just not a team out there."

Which division that re-building takes place in remains to be seen, but highlight of the night came just after the half-hour when Robson-Kanu capped a superb solo run by giving Town the lead - only to see it extinguished sixty seconds later.

Cheltenham's centre forward Elvis Hammond firing past Brezovan almost straight after the re-start before giving the visitors a shock lead just after the break.

The job of saving Town's blushes eventually falling to substitute Kevin Amankwaah, who headed home a corner on 66 minutes.

The point lifts Town one place.
