Chelsea players reunite for Christian Roberts testimonial 

 

Tomorrow night will see a star studded line-up for Christian Roberts testimonial.

 

The Welsh winger who suffered a knee injury was forced in to retirement last September has now been given a goodbye game for all his fans.

On 24 Wednesday March, legends including Gianfranco Zola, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Roberto Di Matteo and Tore Andre Flo will join former Town management duo Dennis Wise and Gus Poyet on the County Ground pitch as part of a Chelsea XI.

And they will go head to head with a Swindon XI made up of past and present favourites including Steve White, Sam Parkin, Paul Bodin, Shaun Taylor, Simon Cox and Lee Peacock.

Roberts’ testimonial is set to kick-off at 7.05pm.

Tickets cost £12 for adult, £7 for OAP/disabled, £7 for juniors aged between seven and 16, and £1 for under 7s.
