A ten-minute goal blitz has almost certainly guaranteed League One football for Swindon Town next season.

 

A victory charge that started two minutes into the second-half after Brighton had taken a surprise lead just before the break.

 

Adam Virgo taking advantage of some poor Town marking from a set-piece to slot home at the end of an even half of few chances.

 

But when loanee Gordon Greer headed home his first Swindon goal straight after the re-start and Billy Paynter made up for a earlier miss three minutes later, Town were on their way to three valuable points.

 

Simon Cox made sure with his 28th of the season just before the hour.

 

Brighton gave themselves hope of a point with a last-minute effort from Gary Dicker, but Town held on in a frantic finish.

 

The win lifts Danny Wilson's side six points above the drop zone with just four games remaining.
