Heathrow worker selected to fight North Swindon seat

A Surrey County Councillor has been elected as the Labour candidate for North Swindon at the forthcoming general election.

 

Victor Agarwal, 36, was voted in by North Swindon members of the Swindon Labour Party and will now take on Conservative councillor Justin Tomlinson for the place in Parliament vacated by Michael Wills.

 

Mr Agarwal, who works for British Airways, was described by Swindon Labour Group leader Derique Montaut as "an outstanding candidate".
