We visit Robert Le Kyng Children's Centre for the grand-opening of their new garden
It was a day of digging and discovery at a new garden at Robert Le Kyng Children's Centre.
Barnardo's commissioned Grassroots Landscaping to design and build an area where children under 5 can enjoy gardening and outdoor play.
And at the grand-opening last week, children were joined by teachers, friends and parents to explore and get their hands dirty for the first time.
South Swindon MP Robert Buckland was also invited and commented: "I must pay tribute to the Barnardo's staff, who have been absolutely brilliant."
"This gives children who don't have the garden space in their houses a chance to get out there and see life from a different angle."
