Hair-Raising in Highworth!

Brrrrh it's cold! Headshave raises £1,000+ for Swindon Girls footy trip to Youth World Cup

One of Highworth's brightest personalities will be feeling the cold tonight after volunteering to have her head shaved for the STFC Football in the Community Girls Centre For Football Excellence.

Sally Foster, who works at McColls in the High Street, has raised over £1,200 so far to help send a Girls Under 15s team, for who her daughter, Baeley, plays for, to the World Youth Cup in Sweden next year.

To add to the Scandinavian theme, hairdresser Karoliina Saunders, who has just opened her own hair salon in Highworth market square, agreed to do the honours, with friends and family cheering on. Well done indeed!
