£22,000 handed out after a night of fundraising at the Marriott

 

For the 26th year in a row, the Charity Ball organised by the Rotary Club of Swindon has made a tremendous difference to seven local good causes.

 

 

At a cheque presentation this evening on the patio at the Marriott Hotel, over £22,000 was handed out to charities that couldn't thank Rotary - and all that have supported them - enough for their generosity.

 

All the money pledged was a result of their annual big gala dinner in May, which since 1989 has raised nearly £700,000 (see links below).
