Proud Night For Rotary
Old Town Swindon club celebrate 25th anniversary & £1/2 million raised for local causes
It was a proud night for all those involved with the Swindon Old Town Rotary this weekend, as the club held a dinner to celebrate their 25th anniversary.
Members past and present gathered at The Marsh Farm hotel in Royal Wootton Bassett hotel to enjoy a meal and drinks and to look back at their fundraising efforts since first obtaining their Rotary charter in 1990.
In that time the club has raised nearly £1/2 million pounds for local good causes and charities with events including the hugely popular
Swindon Duck Race, which this year is being held on 25th May (see link below).
Meet every Wednesday
The club meets every Wednesday morning to share breakfast at 20 at the Kings in Old Town.
