70 Years On 

Crowds gather in Swindon to mark the 70th anniversary of VJ Day
 
Swindon town centre came to a standstill this weekend as the town reflected on the 70th anniversary of Japan's surrender, and the end of World War Two.
 
A short ceremony at the Cenotaph was attended by Mayor of Swindon, Andrew Bennett, as well as a number of veterans, dignitaries and shoppers - all wishing to pay respects to the fallen.
