Sport

What a wonderful feeling it must be seeing your kid score their first goal - then watching them act up and swear like Wayne Rooney.

Ah...the pleasures of sport for kids.

And with the rise in the popularity of football for girls, it doesn't just mean the boys getting stuck in and getting their knees dirty.

But kicking a ball around is not the only pasttime youngsters can get involved with; there's martial arts, golf, tennis, swimming, ice skating, rugby - in other words, all the things you wanted to try but your mum wouldn't let you.

Football

The great game for juniors unfortunately isn't that well represented on the Internet. Some clubs have taken the leap and done their own sites - mostly very informative and hardly a security risk - but for full details on youth and minor football in Swindon and North Swindon, you'll have to use the good old telephone. Sad but true.
