Scouting and Guiding isn't all 'dib-dib-dib' anymore and 'bob-a-job', it's now a modern pasttime for young lads and lasses that now probably includes getting your badge for 'Reciting Eminem Lyrics'.

 
And for those a little older and wanting to climb Everest before they're thirteen-and-a-half, there's the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme.
