People across Swindon gather to pay their respects

 

Remembrance Day 2008

Here’s our gallery from the ceremony held in Highworth, where prayers were said and wreaths were laid at the war memorial at St. Michael’s church before a parade led by the Highworth British Legion took place along the High St.

 

Elsewhere major services were held at the STEAM museum, the war memorial in Regent St and in Wootton Bassett.
