Swindon resident takes walking his dog to the extreme
Pet passport at the ready, Swindon runner Ian Reade and his athletic four-legged friend, Lady, are off to represent the UK in the European CaniCross Championships.
The energetic pair preparing for their trip at Lydiard Park this weekend, as our pictures show.

Ian and Lady, who qualified in third place for their class, will be travelling to Decin in the Czech Republic this October as part of the CaniX team in the 2 day event which will see them covering over 8km in both cross-country racing and relay running.
'It's our first big event abroad, so it's going to be quite an adventure,' Ian told us.
"Lady is a fantastic dog and I think we've got a really good chance of finishing in the top 10."
Lady, who has been competing with Ian for the last 2 years will not only be up against other dogs including huskies, poodles and collies, but also her sister, Maisey, who has kindly been donated to another runner for the event.
The Cani Cross event has been running in Swindon for over 2 years as part of the Active Swindon Project and now boasts over 100 members - and dogs! For more information please see the link below.
