Charity car wash raises £400 for Firefighters Benevolent Fund

It was buckets and sponges at the ready on Sunday morning, as firefighters in Stratton took part in a charity car wash.

 

Raising over £400 for the National Firefighters Benevolent Fund, it was a great success - with cars across the town gleaming and the firefighters smiling at the fruits of their labour.

 

Jo Evans, who organised the event, said: "It was a great success. We were overwhelmed to see so many people turning up!"
