Olympic Flame is coming to Swindon!
Swindon to be part of the Olympic Flames' journey around the UK!!
On Wednesday 23 May 2012, Swindon will become one of the lucky 1000+ cities, towns and villages to have the honour of watching the Olympic Flame pass through on its' journey around the country, before the start of the 2012 Games next year.
Scheduled to reach us between Day 4/5, the Torch will travel from Malborough, up to Chiseldon, then on through Wroughton, Wootton Bassett and finally to Swindon.
This visit is part of the Olympic Flames' enormous journey across the UK, which will take 70 days and use 8000 torchbearers to keep the Olympic Spirit in movement.
More details of the street to street route for the Flame within Swindon are to be announced closer to the time.
