Who was up for the challenge? 

STFC lads take on the England Women's Senior Team at the crossbar challenge

 

It's one of the main features on Sky Sports Soccer Am - 'The Crossbar Challenge'.

 

And ahead of the England Women's senior team v Denmark match at the County Ground on Wednesday evening, 22 July, Swindon Town decided to put them to the test.

 

5 members of each of the teams took it in turn to one-by-one, introduce themselves and attempt to hit the crossbar of the goal from the halfway line.

 

STFC Team:

 

David Lucus - goalkeeper

Gordon Greer - defender

Billy Paynter -striker

Michael Timlin - midfielder

JP McGovern - midfielder

 

England Women's team:

 

Jodie Handley - Centre Forward

Emily Westwood - midfielder

Carly Telford - Goalkeeper

Corinne Yorston - defender

Rachel Williams - midfielder
