New to Swindon:

the Robins' |
Swindon have signed Paul Hurry as a direct replacement for Krzysztof Stojanowski.
Thirty-four year-old, Hurry, will slot into the Swindon reserve department starting from the Knockout Cup semi final against Lakeside on Thursday 11th June.
The reserve switch was prompted after Krzysztof Stojanowski requested to step down from the Swindon side. The Pole had endured a confidence sapping spell of form and has been released from the Robins’ squad.
Paul Hurry has enjoyed a distinguished speedway career and is a former British Under21 Champion and Team GB rider.
The British rider joins Swindon on an average of 3.11.
“It is unfortunate, but things just haven’t quite worked out for Krzysztof at Swindon in 2009," commented team manager Alun Rossiter.
"He has shown some good form on occasions but in recent weeks his confidence has taken a real hit and Stoj no longer felt he was competitive. We will of course help him link up with a Premier league club and we wish him all the very best for the future."
Swindon are next in action tonight (4th June, 7.30pm) when Alun Rossiter's side entertain Ipswich at the Abbey Stadium.
Club number eight Richard Sweetman will join Ryan Fisher in the Robins' reserve department for the Sky Sports Elite League A encounter.
