Rossiter fumes as Swindon's Elite League challenge crumbles
Winning their second Abbey Stadium victory of the 2008 season, Poole inflicted what many consider to be a major dent in Swindon's own championship ambitions. The Pirates ripped Swindon apart in the middle sector of the meeting and had roared to a fourteen point lead after heat twelve. An advantage that a below-par Swindon then failed to eradicate, eventually going down by 9 points. Mads Korneliussen (5 points), Troy Batchelor (2) and Travis McGowen (0) all the key culprits in the defeat according to Robins' team manager Alun Rossiter.
