Robins crash to defeat at Poole

 

It was another defeat for the Robins last night as they crashed to a 14 point defeat at the hands of the Poole Pirates.

 

The meeting was riddled with mechanical problems, falls and a tape-touching offence for Leigh Adams, which all worked against the eager Robins.

 

Despite Adams' uncharacteristic offence, he was once again the golden boy for Swindon, coming out as the top scorer with 15 points, and the only Swindon rider to register a double points haul.

 

Adams and Wright managed to bridge the points gap in heat 11 to just 7 points - but with heat 13 bringing more misery for the Robins in the form of an engine failure for Troy Batchelor, the night ended miserably for Rosco's boys.
