Model railway raises money for local charities

A Highworth man helped raise a considerable sum for Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Cystic Fibrosis research this weekend, hosting a garden party to showcase his model railway.
Terry Wicks and his wife Jan welcomed neighbours and friends to their Westrop home, where 67-year-old Terry's model train set was the main attraction.
The couple, who have transformed their garden in to a model railway, are hoping to raise £3,000 through a number of fundraising events.
