Fiddes looks ahead to new season 

Wildcats captain Wayne Fiddes looks ahead to the new 2008/2009 season

 

Wildcats captain Wayne Fiddes is looking ahead to the new 2008/2009 season with a very positive outlook and he hopes to build on the excellent success of last season.

"I think everything is shaping up extremely well for the new season and I think we we will have a steelness and toughness about us that was perhaps missing last year".

 

Wayne Fiddes went on to say "I think the signing of net minder Ladislav Kudrna is a major coup and if import goalkeepers that we have had before are anything to go by he will be a huge help and will vastly enhance the teams chances of success."

Fiddes added "I think this year Pete (Wildcats Coach) has put together a team that will compete better with the physical and toughness side of the game".

"I feel we have a great combination this year and with our exceptionally bright younger players like Michael Farn and Matty Davies now having a good years playing under their belt, I think we have the right balance to bulid on last years success and look towards the very top end of the table."
