Swindon Wildcats took maximum points from the opening weekend of the English Premier League ice hockey season to begin their campaign in style.
The Wildcats proved their up-for-the-challenge by beating Sheffield 2-1 away from home with Ivan Racek and Nicky Watts both putting their names to the score sheet.
Although the Scimitars took the lead in period two with Flamikr finding the back of the net past Ladislav Kudrna - the lead was soon back in Swindon's hands with Racek and Watts impressing the crowd with both of them scoring on their league debut.
