Opened in June 2009, this is Swindon’s first hotel with more than 200 rooms. It also has a ‘contemporary restaurant’, coffee bar and seven meeting rooms. Opened in 1994, the Hilton is a stone’s throw from junction 16 of the M4. It has 15 meeting rooms, which cater for groups of up to 400 people. First opened as a modest B&B in 1957, which became a licensed country club in 1960, and then a fully licensed hotel in 1962, Blunsdon House is now a four-star hotel, but is still owned by the Clifford family which first opened it.
