Christmas is an exciting time for the kids, but it can be hard to find something other than the latest games console to keep them occupied.

But fear not. For here at SwindonWeb, we've compiled the best of the west for entertainment this season - so take our advice for the kids (and big kids!), and fill your holidays with good old Christmas spirit...

Ten Pin Bowling

Why not bowl a couple of games in the Ten Pin alley? It's a great bit of fun for all the family - and remember, a little bit of competition can be healthy!

At the movies!

Popcorn, Pepsi and Pick 'n Mix. Surely a kid's dream. And with an abundance of Christmas films, it'll be hard to drag them away. Maybe hold back on the ice cream though - unless they're feeling brave.
