Trainee Consultant Programme Back for 2012
Outsource UK are once again looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to be part of their training programme in 2012
Outsource UK, the Swindon-based IT recruitment specialist, launched a
Trainee Recruitment Consultant scheme in 2011 in order to nurture our own raw
talent and to support the companys continuous expansion plans. The programme
will run again in May 2012.
They took on five Trainees last year, four of whom have qualified as fully
trained Recruitment Consultants - and they came from diverse backgrounds and
skill sets ranging from hospitality to teaching, customer service and retail.
They have degrees in history, business and art.
A career in recruitment is not about the degree or work experience you
may have, it is more about your personality, drive and desire to succeed in
this fast paced and ever expanding market?
Their trainee scheme offers great scope to individuals who wish to start a
professional career in recruitment consultancy and should have the following
key attributes to build on:
- Excellent
interpersonal skills it is a people industry when all is said and done!
- Ability
to multi-task with good organizational skills no two days are the same so you
need to keep on top of your work load.
- Tenacity
jobs, candidates and clients do not just fall into your lap. You have
to go out and find them and work with their individual needs.
- Good
social media and networking abilities the world of recruitment is forever
changing and you need to be able to engage and connect with people at all
levels.
- Strong
business acumen you really do need to understand the IT market that you will
be working in.
The 12 week scheme will include a number of key aspects of recruitment,
focusing heavily on quality of service to both candidates and clients. Each Trainee Consultant will cover a specific IT discipline and will be fully
trained and developed in their area of specialisation.
The scheme will cover all aspects of recruitment from:
- Interviewing
and understanding the candidates needs.
- Business
development identifying key clients and their recruitment needs i.e.)
making cold and warm sales calls.
- The
job process taking in a full job specification, identifying the right
candidates, arranging interviews, obtaining feedback from the client and
candidate, managing the offer stage.
- Account
management developing long term business relationships with clients to ensure
future recruitment business.
