One of Swindon's leading firms of solicitors has merged with one of Oxford’s most established legal practices.
The merger sees Withy King, with offices in Devizes Road, Old Town, come together with Marshall & Galpin, who are based in Oxford, Abingdon and Thame.
Both firms have strong reputations in representing clients involved in personal injury and clinical negligence cases.
The combined partnership will boast 300 employees and a turnover of £16 million.
Commenting on the tie-up, Martin Powell, managing partner at Withy King, said: “At Withy King we are constantly looking for opportunities to grow and expand our client base across the South of England, particularly in and around the M4 corridor.
"We see Oxford and the Thames Valley as an area that provides excellent opportunities for further growth in both the private client and commercial sectors."
The enlarged firm will be known as Withy King, who already have practices in Marlborough, Trowbridge, Bath and London.
