Businesses given incentive to learn

Colleges offering massive discounts

New College in Swindon
New start for your business?:
train with one of our colleges and
your company could save a packet
Companies across the town have been offered a bargain from a Consortium of Colleges in Swindon and Wiltshire, to entice businesses in to developing staff training.

The colleges are providing skills-based short courses with up to 70% discount, after receiving funding through the European Social Fund.

The Consortium includes Swindon College, New College, Wiltshire College in Salisbury, and Avonvale Training.

They submitted a bid for £480,000 last May, and are delighted to now have the full amount to offer as a subsidiary.

ESF
The grant gives companies with between 1-250 members of staff the opportunity to take on extra training – at a fraction of the usual price.
Catering for individuals and groups, there are courses available in management and leadership, coaching and mentoring, customer care, and trainer training, and can be delivered at your office or from locations across Wiltshire.

Funding is available until June 2008, so places must be booked up soon!

If you think your business could benefit from extra training, contact  Luci Davis on 01793 638090, or email at luci.davis@newcollege.ac.uk, to see if you are eligible for a whopping discount.
