Thames Water to cut back in Swindon 

Cost-cutting threatens support staff jobs 

 

Staff at Thames Water in Swindon have been warned to expect redundancies at their Kembrey Park offices.

 

The Utility company announced today that they will be 300 cutting jobs in all areas of the business, with the bulk from support services at its sites in Reading and Swindon.

 

Consultations between staff affected by the news - believed to be in the region of 60 - and the company, the largest UK water supplier, are continuing.
