In relation to the “old fashioned” direct marketing method of sending letters, do you now feel that email is out dated because of the lightning speed of social media communications? Have we simply run out of time to actively engage with email because of “in the moment” exchanges and expectations on Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn?
 
It seems that our working lives are busier now than ever before. Why? Are we expected to do more? If we look back to the newest version of snail mail – email, we’ve already established that with an increase in the busyness of our working lives, we simply don’t have the time to sift through our inbox for what is important and time sensitive. However what we do have time for is faster, real time connectivity which invites a rapid response.
 
To engage effectively with your target market, a progressive approach to grab attention is to introduce an app to your marketing strategy. By creating an app you are in effect placing your business right into the palm of your audience.
 
With smart phones leading the way in communication today, millions of users respond to or share more often than not instantaneously to what they receive on their mobile device. Smart phones have become the “mobile life organiser and entertainment” tool of choice for so many, which is one of the main reasons why an app is ideal to market your business.
