Appliance World in the final for award
Appliance retails reach final of the 2011 Wiltshire Business Awards
They are challenging for the award for Innovation and Growth, having flourished in recent years despite the global recession and faltering retail trends.
Appliance World is Wiltshire’s largest independent appliance retailer, offering a wide choice of top brand kitchen appliances from Hotpoint & Indesit to Miele, De Dietrich and more.
Their showroom is located in Swindon’s Equity Trade Centre on Hobley Drive in Stratton, where you’ll find hundreds of the latest models and eight fitted fully-working kitchens on display.
Well-stocked showroom
In 2010, Appliance World acquired the 21,000 ft2 Daniel Gooch building in Wootton Bassett for use as their distribution centre, from which their logistics team operates throughout the UK.
“Our well-stocked showroom, allows our expert staff to demonstrate key features and technologies to customers face-to-face.” commented Rob Stephens, sales manager,
"Appliance World invests heavily in all key aspects of the business to ensure that their staff, infrastructure and technology are up-to-date."
This year the industry has taken note, as Appliance World has been revealed as a finalist in the 2011 Wiltshire Business Awards for Innovation and Growth.
The judges acknowledged that Appliance World had shown dedication in improving their customer service department whilst also employing innovative marketing strategies and developing the company’s infrastructure.
The local company will discover if they have won the coveted title at the awards ceremony on Thursday 24th March which is being held at The Four Pillars Hotel in South Cerney. |
