Grant Boost For Businesses 

Funding availabe to help staff cycle, walk or take the bus to work

 
Money is now available for Swindon businesses who want to encourage their staff to cycle, walk or take the bus to work.

 

Thanks to funding from the DfT's Local Sustainable transport fund, Swindon Travel Choices are able to offer local businesses grant funding ranging from £500 to £5000 to help reduce traffic congestion around the town centre and improve the options available to employees around how they travel to work.

 

The grants can be used to upgrade on-site storage for bikes or changing facilities, or by supporting individual commuters by purchasing bikes or providing free bus travel trial tickets.

 

Hurry - the first application deadline is 1st April 2013!
