Gathered at the home of Sir Henry and Lucy Angkatell are various guests amongst whom is Dr John Cristow, his mistress, his ex-mistress Veronica, and his wife. Veronica ardently desires to marry Cristow but he refuses to divorce, and Veronica unwisely declares that if she can't have him no-one else will. Within five minutes he is dead. Nearly everyone had a motive and opportunity to murder Cristow, but who actually committed the deed has to discovered by Inspector Colquhoun and Sergeant Penny.
Tickets are priced at £6 and £5 concessions.

The Phoenix Players recent production of 'The Shell Seekers'
at the Swindon Arts Centre

'Sandra Gilbert directed an absorbing adaptation of Rosamund Pilcher's best seller, The Shell Seekers. The stage version captures the essence of the novel set in both the Cotswolds and Cornwall, at various periods, including the Second World War. Sally Lewis is superb as Penelope and The Phoenix Players steadily drew their audience into this family saga with cleverly staged glimpses of past joys and sorrows.'
