I took a double-take when I first saw these at Waterstones - but what a brilliant idea! This series of adult tongue-in-cheek Ladybird books by the co-writers of TV's Miranda, with titles such as The Shed and The Wife, are hilarious! Perfect for the man in your life about to enter a mid-life crisis!
B. Boots
Trust Boots! There is still 3 for 2 mix and match on a massive range Christmas gifts - but it was these Activity Store experience days that caught my eye. The Vineyard Tour & Tasting sounded fantastic as well as the Family Photoshoot at half-price - just £19.
C. Chocolate - hot!
We all need a break when Christmas shopping, so what better than a lovely, throthy hotty choccy at Boswells. So stop off and enjoy!
D. Dapper
That's what he'll look with these accessories from top Gentleman's outfitter Skopes at House of Fraser Outlet. Ties, scarfs, cufflinks and more are all on offer in their Big Brand Clearance which is offering up to 70% off. Bargain!
E. Earrings
The last-minute staple for most chaps on a gift hunt, so may I recommend Crystals on the top floor for a very nice selection of earrings and jewellery that crucially won't break the bank!

It's certainly very strong in the Brunel this year! I definitely felt it when I took a browse in The Entertainer Toy Shop where it's gone Star Wars crazy! I was on the search for a Hans Solo model, though, (for myself!) but couldn't find any. Oooops spoiler alert!
G. Is for Giftcard
Birthday, anniversary and most definitely Christmas, these new Brunel Gift Cards are a God-send! The card can be loaded with any amount between £5 and £1,000 (yes, £1,000!) and your loved one can spend it all at once or a little at a time. Perfecto!
H. Is For Hunk or Honey?
And what a selection on offer at the Calendar Shop on the ground floor. One Direction, Kylie, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Daniel Craig and my fave, Johnny Depp! I can look at any one of these every day next year for just £9.99 if I bought one for myself - which I'm going to!

If you've left it this late for pressies, it'll probably be a last-minute lunchtime dash in to town. So why not stop-off at I-Wok Noodle Bar just off Havelock Square for a super-tasty stop-off with super quick service!

Still the original style-house in Swindon. So how could I do an A-Z of shopping in the Brunel without giving JA the letter J! Designer labels galore and - dare I say it - a brilliant 'discount rail' always full of surprises!

I know I can't help looking at the window of Ann Summers when I walk past! And I've even been known to pop in from time to time, especially for naughty Secret Santa presents for my lovely friends at work. You have been warned!

Where would we be without good old M&S at Christmas, eh? I can't say I'm a regular shopper there but I pop in when I can and I never miss at trip at this time of year, mainly for the food. And while there this week I took a little peak around their homeware offer. Not the biggest in the world but some lovely stuff all the same.

'Tis the party season, so what better gift than a visit to Aqua G on the top floor. Buy a voucher and your sister, mum or girlfriend can get a shape and polish, manicure or some extensions before New Year's Eve! Wow! Sorted!
O. Original Art
Now this really is somewhere you can buy a gift that's unique! The Swindon Artists Forum display at the Brunel is full of completely original artwork made here in Swindon. Big and small pieces for sale. Always worth a look!
P. Perfume
Sometimes I think this sooo shouldn't be a last-minute pressie. Perfume says so much about someone and it's a wonderful gift to receive when the person giving it has thought about it - not just grabbed the first smellies on the counter! I love Chanel so I just can't recommend anything else!
Q. For Queue
Here's a top tip gents if you are leaving things late again this year - Pandora is popular!! What's inside is beautiful indeed but expect to queue up. But you know what they say?.... all good things come to those who wait!

That's the thing with the Brunel, it always springs a few surprises. So I loved the new exhibition shop in the far corner of the upper floor where I found these limited edition 'Andy Warhol' skateboard decks. Now that's a pressie with a difference!

You can't go wrong with a DVD or three from That's Entertainment at these prices. And these look like the staple of any decent collection for the pretend hard nut in your family or office!
U. Upper Floor
I'm not quite old enough to remember what The Brunel was like when it was just one floor - but my mum often tell me about it. Thank goodness, then, for upstairs. Loads of independents and choice!

I always think this is the Brunel's best-kept secret as I love Warehouse. But tucked upstairs at Miss Selfridge it always feels slightly out of the way. Who cares, though, with super-stylish gifts like these gorgeous beauties on offer. Back leather is most definitely in this season, so hint! hint!
X. X-Rated!
I'm no footy fan, but my boyfriend tells me that how Chelsea's performances are this season! So to cheer him up I'm going to get one of these mobile phone hard cases you can find on the lower floor. It'll help when he throws his phone at the TV! Only £10. Back of the net!
Y. Yellow Mellow
Yes, you will go to the Ball, darling! Don't you just love the smell as you walk into LUSH? I do! I almost want to buy everything in the shop - starting with these Cinders Hot Fruit Punch Bath Bombs. Get 'em in the tub!
Z. For BIG Fat Zero!
Which is exactly what you'll pay for parking this year at the Brunel North car park from 3pm to 9pm every Thursday until the end of January. Very handy for those leaving it not just late, but super, super, super-late on Christmas Eve this year!!
And not forgetting!.....
Another great reason to pop to the Brunel this week is their fantastic gift wrapping service in aid of the Prospect Hospice, which will run daily until Christmas Eve from 9:30am until 4pm!
