Casual Outfits Under £70Katie Smith shows us how find the perfect everyday outfit without breaking the bank
Most women in our
society today have one of two issues in their life. They either hate shopping
with a passion, would rather clean the house than actually leave it for a
shopping trip, or two; they love shopping so much that as soon as pay day comes
around, their money will disappear in the blink of an eye.
This is why I am here
to help. These ‘outfits for under’ articles are here to guide you through the
Swindon shopping experience with ease and within a budget. This time we
are focusing on that everyday casual outfit.
Marks & Spencer
M&S provide a few
different genres of clothing within their store. Indigo is a good one to look
at as their stuff is causal and within budget. If you can’t find what you’re
looking for in store, they can also help by offering their online service.
A cross between a
legging and a jean, the jegging is a perfect piece to a casual outfit.
They let
you breathe (and eat as much as you want) as the waistband is stretchy, but
they have the look of a jean.
This pair of mauve jeggings is perfect for the
coming spring. Its time to step away from the dreary dark colours and welcome
spring with open arms in gorgeous pastels.
Price - £29.95
Top
Pair the jeggings with
this pretty little Peter Pan collar top.
It’s floaty and not clingy, perfect if
you’re not a fan of showing of your figure.
The star detailing will help to add
a bit of pattern to your outfit.
Price - £22.50
Cardigan
To complete the outfit, pair with this lovely ¾
cardigan in the black.
It will help to bring out the pattern and collar of the
top and will keep you warm in the spring breeze.
You could also add
a pair of pumps to the outfit, probably in a beige colour to keep your outfit
light.
Price - £15
Outfit total
- £67
Top Shop
If you prefer
something a bit girlier to go out with, why not try Topshop. They have some
great every day girly pieces that will keep you looking stylish throughout the
day.
Dress
The speckled roll
sleeve mini dress is a perfect everyday dress.
It consists of a nice t-shirt
feel material that would flatter most figures.
The burgundy colour is my
favourite and again, we are starting to bring colour back into our wardrobes.
Price - £26
Tights
It's not quite warm
enough yet to bare your legs to the world!
Pair your dress with these spotty
tights to bring some fun to your outfit.
Price - £8.50
Jumper
As the dress clinches
you in at the waist, instead of a cardigan, pair it with a cropped jumper.
This
gives the look of a skirt and top, turning one outfit into two, therefore
getting more for your money!
Why not try this pastel pink cropped jumper?
It
compliments the burgundy perfectly and will keep the cold at bay.
Price - £30
Outfit total
- £64.50
River Island
This brand has taken
its first big step into the fashion collaborations world. Recently featuring at
London Fashion week was Rihanna for River Island, which will be released in
stores and online next month.
For now though why not try some of these
essential pieces for your casual wardrobe.
Leggings
Panelled leggings help to give your legs a
slimmer look.
These grey ones are perfect for the spring, stepping away from
colour for a second, darker colours naturally slim you.
The panels add for a
more detailed look.
Price - £20
Top
Pair this cream
oversized top with the leggings.
This will give u a more casual look and won’t
make you look to overdressed for a quick trip to Tesco.
Price - £25
Cardigan
Add an oversized cardy
in navy to your outfit to give you that
perfect relaxed and stylish look in
such an effortless way.
Price - £20
Outfit total
- £65
These tips of what to
look for and where to find it should hopefully bring you into the spring mind a
bit more, although it’s hard with this very cold weather!
So, start bringing
colours back into your wardrobe and greet the seasonal change with style.
