Swindon Artists Forum thanked by Prospect Hospice for their generous charity donation

The Swindon Artists Forum has been thanked by Prospect Hospice for their latest donation of £1,000 towards the end-of-life care service the hospice provides the local community.

Swindon Artists Forum is a group of 50 local artists, both professional and amateur, whose work is on display in a gallery in The Brunel shopping centre, near House of Fraser.

The range of work on offer is diverse and includes contemporary and more traditional pieces. Many of the artists are happy to take commissions and produce work to specific requirements.

The Swindon Artists Forum donates a percentage of the commission they make on picture sales to Prospect Hospice. Over the seventeen years the Forum has been running they have raised more than £14,000 for Prospect House.

“We raised funds towards its building and we just carried on once it was up and running,” says Chair Lesley Cornish.

“The Gallery is a delight to visit”, said Jane Stewart Marketing Manager, The Brunel.

“If you are looking for a unique gift or something special for the house, I would highly recommend you take a look at the Swindon Artists Forum’s Gallery. And by buying a picture you’re contributing something towards a much needed local service too.”
