Handbag Amnesty 

 

OSPREY LONDON has today announced the launch of its Handbag Amnesty at McArthurGlen’s Swindon Designer Outlet, raising money for national charity, Cancer Research UK. 

This charity initiative, now in its third year, will run throughout September at OSPREY LONDON - the British-luxury 

leather company renowned for its vintage-inspired bags and accessories.

The Handbag Amnesty allows customers to bring in any brand of unwanted handbag – new or used - and in turn, receive 20% off a new OSPREY LONDON handbag.

The donated bags will be sold by Cancer Research UK – the world’s leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. The charity funds over half of the UK’s cancer research and its work is entirely funded by the public.

Tina Cumpstey, Centre Manager at McArthurGlen Swindon, says: “McArthurGlen’s Swindon Designer Outlet is supporting Cancer Research UK as its charity partner for 2013/2014."

Last year’s Handbag Amnesty, which ran across all eight OSPREY LONDON stores, saw over 450 bags donated for resale by its chosen charity partners.
