That's the Long and the short of it as work stars on the new expansion at the Swindon Designer Outlet

 

This is the shape of things to come at the Swindon Designer Outet in Swindon in 2015 - 30 more stores to choose from and a new food court.

Currently over 90 stores, with thousands of shoppers already browsing the likes of Polo Ralph Lauren, L K Bennett, Tommy Hilfiger and Hugo Boss, work has now started on a £35m extension.

 

The historic Long Shop building, part of the Grade II-listed Great Western Railway Works, will now be completely transformed to bring the total retail space to 250,000 sq ft.

 

 

The extension will also create around 350 new jobs once the works are finished in eighteen months time, increasing the total number of people employed at Swindon Designer Outlet to 1,100.
