Former Town keeper on hand to open new Morrison's supermarket in Eldene

 

Swindon Town's former stopper and present goalkeeping coach, Fraser Digby, helped cut the ribbon to open the brand-new Morrison's supermarket in Eldene this week.

  

He was joined by the Mayor, the Leader of the Council, Swindon South MP Robert Buckland and teammate Nathan Thompson - plus over a hundred queuing shoppers - at 9am for the first day of trading on Monday.

 

The £15m store is Morrison's second in Swindon, joining its existing supermarket in Thames Avenue.
