New free service between Designer Outlet and Town Centre to run throughout the holidays

 

inSwindon Business Improvement District Company is launching a free shopper shuttle bus between Swindon Designer Outlet and the Town Centre this Saturday 1st August.

 

The service will enable visitors of the Designer Outlet and the Town Centre to easily extend their trip by taking the short ride between Swindon’s two key shopping areas.

 

Running from 01 August to 05 September

 

The Shuttle will run from 1st of August throughout the school holidays until the 5th of September, picking up from the train station and dropping off at various points throughout Swindon town centre, and the Swindon Designer Outlet.

 

The route is a loop from Kemble Drive at the Swindon Designer Outlet - Farnsby Street (for The Brunel) - Regent Circus - Fleming Way (for shops at The Parade, including the new H&M) – Swindon Train Station – and finally Swindon Designer Outlet.

 

 

As a bonus, all passengers will be offered a temporary Swindon Loyalty Card for them to take advantage of all the exclusive offers available in town centre retailers.

 

Paul Jenkins, Managing Director of Thamesdown Transport Ltd., has been working closely with inSwindon to provide the bus and has said: “Thamesdown is delighted to be working with inSwindon to deliver this innovative project and we very much hope that the free bus link will help the many visitors who come to the Designer Outlet to also enjoy the town centre’s leisure and shopping attractions. Town centre shoppers will also be able to jump on the service to visit the Outlet and Steam.”
