MFI shuts in Swindon 

Mannington store closes with immediate effect

 

Good night: MFI in Swindon ceased trading today

Struggling furniture retailer MFI has closed its Swindon store, it has been confirmed.

 

Staff reported for work this morning at the Mannington retail park to be told all employees will lose their jobs.

 

MFI entered administration in November but a buyer for the business, founded in 1964 as Mullard Furniture Industries, could not be found.
