Denim in Demand

Shoppers urged to donate cast-offs at Swindon Outlet for children's charity

Everyone's got some old denim jeans in the wardrobe - and the Swindon Designer Outlet want yours!

Swindon Designer Outlet Jeans for Genes
In aid of children's charity Jeans for Genes, the Outlet are urging shoppers to donate their cast-off flares, straights and jackets throughout October.

In return anyone who brings in a pair of jeans will receive 30% off a brand new pair from the outlet’s Gap store.

And if handing over your beloved denims is all too much, all those giving a simple £1 donation to the charity will recieve a 10% off discount card for a number of stores.

Nick Williams, marketing manager at Swindon Designer Outlet, said:

"This is a great opportunity for people to raid their wardrobes in aid of a good cause and jeans in any condition, of all sizes and styles are welcome."

Shoppers can drop off their jeans at the information desk, where they will receive their Gap 30% discount voucher.

Denim sculpture

To coincide with Jeans For Genes Day on 02 October, Swindon Designer Outlet will also be creating its very own ‘Denim Train’ sculpture with the help of students from Gloucestershire College.

The sculpture will be on display at the outlet from September 30 onwards.
