The Hammerman at New College 

The life and works of Swindon-born poet Alfred Williams are set to be depicted in this entertaining musical

John Cullimore, a surgeon at the Great Western Hospital, has composed a musical based on the life and times of one Alfred Williams, a Swindon-born poet who rose to fame in his time for his every-man appearance and subject matter.
 
The production, which was first premiered back in November 2010, will be performed at the Phoenix Theatre in New College, Swindon, to help revive the town's knowledge of their local hero.
