David Prutton's first goal in a Town shirt saved a point after Brentford took an early lead.

 

A mistake from Michael Rose gave McDonald the chance to slot past Dave Lucas after just eight minutes. 

 

But after settling down in defence, Swindon's steady build-up play provided two good opportunities before man-of-the-match Sean Morrison flicked on a throw-in to provide the space for Prutton to equalise.

 

And had substitute Vincent Pericard (on for Dossevi) taken a late chance - or passed to an unmarked Austin in the box - Swindon would have felt justified in recording their first victory of the season.

"As soon as we start getting clean sheets we'll start winning games, it's as simple as that," commented a philosophical Danny Wilson.
