Town impressive from the opening whistle, with six on-target efforts going close in the first ten minutes.

 

The all-important first goal eventually coming from Sean Morrison before Charlie Austin made it 2-0 just before the break.

 

Domination

 

Continuing the trend into the second-half, Danny Wilson looked delighted as Pericard sealed a place in round two with a well-taken, close-range shot and Matt Ritchie provided the icing on the cake with a header.

 

"We didn't give them a sniff," Wilson commented. "This is a big boost for the whole club."
