Cuttin' It
Sturrock happy to take the pressure 18 September 2007 Paul Sturrock was onhand to open a new pharmacy in West Swindon this week - and have his blood pressure taken just for good measure. Not that the Town boss was feeling the strain too much after Saturday's performance at Hartlepool. A team display Sturrock was happy to admit got his pulse racing - despite his side not making the most of their one-goal lead. Swindon's lack of cutting edge up front still a bitter pill to swallow, however, after Town's fourth draw in six games. But with Swindon still nursing a number of injuries - striker Barry Corr included - Sturrock knows a win on Saturday will be just what the doctor ordered. The return of the 'Rockin Robin' and his dynamic new look, will hopefully bring a change in fortunes to the County Ground this weekend. And he's already had an impression on star player Lee Peacock, who's been inspired by the Town mascot's razor sharp new look. |
