Bodin in temporary charge as Wray starts plans for future

 

Paul Hart's brief tenure as Swindon Town manager is over, SwindonWeb can confirm.

 

In a busy 24 hours at the County Ground, Hart has left following the shock announcement yesterday that Andrew Fitton has resigned as chairman following Swindon's relegation from League One.

 

 

Youth team coach and former Town player Paul Bodin has been put in temporary charge until the end of the season.

Hart took over from Danny Wilson on 03 March on a short-term contract with Swindon in 20th place in League One, just a point above the relegtion zone. But after only one win in eleven games and ugly scenes of dissent from home fans last Saturday, Hart announced he was 'contemplating his future'.

 

Swindon's relegation to League Two was confirmed on Monday after a 3-1 loss at Sheffield Wednesday.
