Five hundred travelling Town fans saw Matt Ritchie score twice in two minutes to set up victory.

 

The Swindon midfielder first found the net with a perfectly struck half-volley after 19 minutes before a deflected effort made it 2-0 sixty seconds later.

 

Booed by the home fans at half-time, Rotherham made a game of it after the break when Alex Revell got one back. But despite being dominated for large periods and Di Canio only able to influence proceeedings from the stands by phone due to a touchline ban, Swindon's defence held firm for away win number six.

 

The Robins stay 4th.
