Lee Holmes first goal at the County Ground edged Swindon another step closer to League One football.

 

The winger's curling cross evaded everyone to find the net to break the deadlock after a tight first-half.

 

And in difficult playing conditions - with wind and rain - Swindon always did just enough to stay ahead without completely dominating.

A win next Saturday at home to Plymouth could turn into a promotion party if other results go Town's way with just five games to go - but Paolo Di Canio refuses to think too far ahead.

 

"We are winning and I am happy for everyone here, especially the fans," he commented.
