Charlie Austin bagged his second goal in as many games as Swindon passed what manager Danny Wilson described as a "very stern test".

 

Austin providing the winner early in the second half, after strike-partner Billy Paynter grabbed a 24th minute lead, only for Huddersfield to level matters just four minutes later.

 

But despite a swirling wind and constant late pressure from the Terriers, Town held firm to move up to 7th in League One, just one point out of the play-off places with a game in hand.

 

"We defended well and kept our shape when under pressure. I couldn't be more pleased with the way we coped with the conditions and saw the game out," a delighted Wilson said.
